Thomas Grace, MD, CDCES, ABOM, is a family medicine physician, running the Blanchard Valley Diabetes Center in Findlay, Ohio, which he started nearly a decade ago. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan before attending medical school. Dr. Grace has a passion for diabetes and education.

His interest in diabetes stems from his personal journey with type 1 diabetes, diagnosed at the age of 3. More recently, he also joined Dexcom as the Head of Advocacy and Clinical Outcomes. He has been published several times and has lectured on diabetes in many academic settings, both in the US and internationally. He is interested in expanding access of CGMs to everyone with diabetes.

He is very proud of the CGM project he started in his hometown, which is the longest and largest longitudinal real world study using rtCGM in the type 2 population. His hobbies are his 3 children under the age of 11.
