Egils Bogdanovics

Dr. Egils Bogdanovics practices Endocrinology in Torrington, Connecticut. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCONN, has been in practice for 30 years, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. 

Egils joined the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Diabetes Center staff in 2000 and enjoys being part of a team of diabetes specialists, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, and registered dietitians trained to help people with diabetes avoid complications and maintain better health throughout their lifetime. 

He prescribes and enjoys exercise with cycling, rowing, and skiing. Having lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 40 years, he continues to learn from every patient he treats. 

A CGM user for 15 years, he has realized firsthand that CGM improves the quality of life and indeed saves lives as well.
