Daniel Katselnik

Dr. Katselnik is an adult endocrinologist at Diabetes and Metabolism Specialists in San Antonio Texas. He received his undergraduate degree at Drew University in New Jersey. He completed his medical degree, residency and fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. 

In addition to running a private practice focused on modern type 1 diabetes management and the integration of technology in diabetes care, he is a type 1 diabetic and personal user and advocate of the Dexcom CGM. He is also heavily involved in research with trial experience focused on new insulin and non-insulin options in type 1 diabetes, pump, CGMS and other technologies in diabetes treatment. 

He is also a JDRF board member and co-chair of the Type One Nation summit focused on education of type 1 diabetics and their families. Diabetes education and the training of patients, families and the medical community about diabetes has always been one of his most passionate subjects.
