Alexis Forsberg, DNP, MSN‑FNP, CDCES, BC‑ADM, is a Senior Medical Affairs Manager at Dexcom, where she works within the Value, Evidence, and Outcomes team to advance quality measurement, population health strategy, and digitally enabled models of diabetes care. Her work focuses on aligning clinical evidence, product development, and health system needs to support the effective integration of continuous glucose monitoring across diverse care settings.

At Dexcom, Dr. Forsberg leads and contributes to several key initiatives, including Clarity Population Health, quality measurement and policy engagement (including NCQA and HEDIS‑related efforts), remote patient monitoring strategy, and evidence generation supporting payer and health system adoption of CGM. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical science, digital health, and health system operations, translating complex data into practical, scalable solutions for real‑world care delivery.

Dr. Forsberg’s professional background includes extensive clinical training and practice across endocrinology and diabetes care, working with patients across the full spectrum of endocrine conditions, with a particular emphasis on individuals living with diabetes in both outpatient and inpatient settings. In her clinical roles, she helped drive health system–wide glycemic management efforts, including serving on and supporting a hospital glucose control committee responsible for the oversight and management of inpatient hyperglycemia, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and newly diagnosed diabetes. This experience informs a medical affairs approach grounded in frontline clinical workflows and patient experience, allowing her to bridge clinical rigor with systems‑level strategy and ensure that digital health innovations remain clinically relevant, operationally feasible, and evidence‑based.

She also serves on the leadership team of Dexcom’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN+), where she helps guide programming that supports professional development, leadership growth, and inclusion across the organization.
